NON-PILOT Needs info:

I am a non-pilot, in need of some information.  1) The name of the airport in Khartoum, Sudan, and what is the basic procedure
for flying in to an airport from another foreign country.  For instance, if you were in Kinshasha, Zaire, and you wanted to fly to
Munich, Germany.  You need to refuel in Khartoum, an at Luqa, Malta, before flying on in to Munich.  What do you do, radio
ahead as you approach? Or just what. How do you go about obtaining permission to fly over and to land?  Or do you even need
it?  Any help would be appreciated.  I am a writer, working on a manuscript, and that’s why I need the information.
Thanks.  Joel Jacobs e-mail:  jjac…@koyote.com

Well, in your case, since you’re the asshole who just posted make.money.fast,
the first thing you do is find a new Internet provider, because anybody who
posts illegal chain letters should lose their account.  And be shot and
pissed on besides.

Once you’ve suitable disguised who you are so we don’t know that you’re a
spamming assmunch, you might try asking the question again.

request information

I’m planning to take a month this summer and fly my 172RG in a huge
circle west from Pittburgh across Michigan, Minnesota and Montana to the
coast, south to the San Francisco area, and back across the middle of the
country, seeing all my long lost friends along the way.  I want to camp
under the wing along little strips around the country, carrying my 10
speed in the back seat, and being free as a bird.

I would really appreciate any information about great airports along
the way, good people to deal with, good restaurants at airports, and great
access into the bigger cities from small airports using public
transportation.

For example, a great way to visit Washington, DC is to fly into
College Park, Maryland, walk across the street, and catch the Metro
(subway) downtown.  But I’ve never found any other big city ports.

I would appreciate hearing about great sightseeing flights along the
way, tips for overflying the Rockies and any other information you can
think of.

      Thank you very much,

(or thereabouts), Saskatchewan.  As a foreigner will I be able to fly an
N reg ‘plane to a foreign country (Canada).  Will I be able to get my

Flying to the Bahamas

Anybody out there have experience of flying to the Bahamas in a small
plane?  I am thinking about taking my Cessna 150 from W. Palm Beach or
Baco Raton to Freeport in March and then exploring some of the islands.
Seems to be a few airports around.  I’d love to hear from anyone who has
info on this.  Vicky
