Has anyone tried using a cell/music adapter for this headset? I called
about upgrading to the new set they are offering, but it is $50 and I
lose my PTT switch to boot. The headset is listed as mono, so does that
mean that an adapter for stereo music wouldn’t work?

A mono headset only has one circuit, an adapter will not
convert it to stereo.

Thanks, I see what you’re saying now. Sound does come out of both
earpieces, but it is the same signal sent to both. I think.
