The nearest Airports I know,where it is possible to get flying lessons
are Lucern and Bern (Belp). The Swiss Office for Civilian Aviation is
based in Lucern. It’s very easy to joined Lucern and Bern from Solothurn,
there is a Highway which comes directly into those two cities and You’ve
got to run approximately 50 km in each of any direction. For more (and

Grenchen is a very nice but busy GA field within the Canton of
Solothurn. There are several schools based there.
